Hi there, my name is Stevie and I'm the founder of Sense-a-Story. I'm a mum of three and a story lover! As a pupil support assistant, I have ten years' experience supporting children's learning and wellbeing in mainstream and additional support needs schools. My journey to becoming a qualified primary teacher is underway. I achieved a First-class BA (Hons.) Education Studies (Primary) degree in 2023, and I'm currently undertaking my Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary). The learning and experience I've gained through being a mum, working and studying, and my love of reading have all come together and led to the creation of Sense-a-Story.
To put your mind at ease, I'm a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme, and a qualified first aider. I've also undertaken training in Food Safety, Allergens and Safeguarding, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children.
Really looking forward to seeing you at a Sense-a-Story session soon!
